Zooming in on the Breakfast Club!

Thornhill, Hightown and Kanes Hill schools are operating breakfast clubs which were funded as a part of Thornhill Health and Wellbeing Project.

Not only do they encourage healthy eating and provide nutritional breakfasts to children who might otherwise miss out, the clubs promote dental hygiene in a fun way.

 
 

A survey at Hightown showed that the vast majority of children are enjoying the food and recognise the importance of brushing their teeth. But playing football and other games, and having a good time with friends, were the things they liked most!
