The 1st phase of the project will focus on the junction between Hinkler Road, Bursledon Road and Carey Road. The consultation process began in October 2008 and feedback from residents in that area has been received by the design team to form the basis of the plan for the improvements. Work will be taking place next year.

Consultation for the remainder of the project will begin early in the New Year.
