Graham Moyes Ltd began work to improve the area outside 12 walk-up blocks in Byron Road, Gerard Crescent and Burke Drive in November 2008, and this work will continue into 2009. Work around the remaining 74 blocks in the project will begin in 2009.

What’s Been Happening?
The Better Neighbourhood project is one of the
programmes tasked withtransforming the space
around 88 walk-up blocks in Thornhill.
The Better Neighbourhood project firstly started by asking those of you that live in the blocks, how you thought things could be improved. All of the comments and ideas have been used and created into designs, demonstrating how the areas outside of the 88 blocks in the project could look.
The designs have now been produced and take into account the top 3 priorities for each block. We are going to be taking these designs out to the community for feedback during the early part of summer 2008. People will have the opportunity to give us feedback on the designs and talk to us about them when we spend time with themoutside of their blocks.
